LOCATION

Near a major point of PARIS transportation network, making connections to many parts of the city really easy :

- TRAINS : from nearby Montparnasse train station, trains go to the west and southwest of France (Rennes, Angers, Nantes, Bordeaux, etc...)

- METRO : closest stations are as follows :

* Gaîté : metro line 13

* Montparnasse : metro lines 4, 6, 12, 13

* Edgar Quinet : metro line 6

- BUS lines : numerous and convenient bus lines are running close to the apartment :

* bus 28 :

* bus 58 : goes (especially) to Chatelet, the most central part of the city

* bus 82 : goes to Luxembourg Gardens, near Le Pantheon, on one side, to Invalides / Ecole Militaire (close to Unesco), on the other side

* bus 91 : goes to Bastille, where the Sunday morning market on Bd Richard Lenoir is one of the best in Paris

* bus 92 : goes to the top of the Champs Elysees (Arc de Triomphe / Charles de Gaulle-Etoile square), then to Porte de Champerret through the 17th arrondissement

* bus 94 : goes to St Lazare station, then to Levallois also through the 17th arrondissement

* bus 95 : goes to Le Louvre/Palais Royal, Opera Garnier, Place Clichy, and behind Montmartre through rue Damremont to Porte de Montmartre

* bus 96 : goes to the most fashionable areas of the city : St Germain des Pres, St Michel, Chatelet, several corners of Le Marais (Hotel de Ville, St Paul, along rue de Turenne to the end of rue de Bretagne) and then Oberkampf and Menilmontant.

APARTMENT

The 36 sqm studio apartment is located on the second floor with an elevator.

The modern building is located behind the older building located on the street, and faces lorts of greenery. It is very quiet.

The apartment offers :

a) a very spacious main room, with a broad balcony

the general style gives priority to "contemporary design" decor and furniture : the walls and some of the furniture are white; for example a white leather sofa-bed, and a long white low sideboard.

Otherwise, remarkable items include 2 "Mr Impossible" red chairs (designed by Philippe Starck), a large multi-bulbs contemporary lamppost, another contemporary lamp signed Ferruccio Laviani.

b) an open kitchen, equipped with 2 electricial burners, a fan, a refrigerator, a washing machine, a microwave, a coffee machine, a toaster, cupboards and other kitchenware and tableware

c) a very good quality bathroom with a bathtub with shower nozzle, a spacious washbasin area, and a slightly separate toilet

The small entrance area includes spacious cupboards

AVAILABILITY / PRICING

The studio is available generally for rather short periods (4 nights to 3 or 4 weeks).

Availability needs to be reconfirmed before each reservation.

Exceptionally during the summer season the apartment may be available a little longer

(maximum 2.5 months).

Short term all-in rates are as follows, of course the price would be tailored to the actual expected length of your stay.

1 week / 7 nights : 110 euros per night

2weeks / 14 nights : 89 euros per night

3 weeks / 21 nights : 82 euros per night

Exceptionally, 2.5 months available from mid-June to end of August 2011
